Davis Performance Upgrades can achieve:

1. Through ECU - chip management, A gain of 25 - 50 horsepower

2. Improvements to asperation - Another gain of 30 horsepower

operate at optimum levels to suit Australian conditions including fuel quality.

Download software.
The upgrade results in an increase from 90kw to 135kw, and 340nm to 440nm.

Defender 2002 - 2006 -TD5-
Download to diagnostic board and re-program ECU.
Power increase 90 kw to 145 kw
Torque 300nm to 430nm

Defender 1999 - 2001 - has a non programmable ECU
replace chip with upgraded software
90kw to 140kw, 300nm to 420nm

Defender1994 to 1998- 300 TDI
Injector pump is modified to fit the housing the internal pump timing modified.
Boosted pressure changed.
This will give 50% increase in torque down low, 20% increase in torque up high while maintaining fuel consumption.

Defender 1990 to 1993 - TDI 200 -
Add a turbo modification - modified exhaust turbine housing.
Injector pump is modified to fit the housing and the internal pump timing modified.
Boosted pressure is changed.
50% increase in torque down low,
20% increase in torque up high while maintaining fuel consumption.
